Vancouver Canucks Send Forward Jake Virtanen To Utica Comets Of AHL

    VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks sent forward Jake Virtanen to the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League on Wednesday.
     
    The 20-year-old native of Abbotsford, B.C., had one assist in 10 games this season. Virtanen had seven goals and six assists in 55 games with the Canucks last season.
     
    The six-foot-one 226-pound forward was selected by Vancouver with the sixth overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
