21 year old Surrey resident Arshdeep Bains has been signed by the Vancouver Canucks. He is the first leading scorer in the WHL of South Asian heritage. Hear from him on what it means to be playing hockey professionally with his favourite team the Canucks during their up-coming season.
Giving credit to his family, friends and ‘guruji’ (mentor), he said: “The credit goes to my family, my close friends who’re always supportive of me. My guruji keeps telling me to keep playing and ‘you can come back on top’.”
