Blast from the Past Fundraiser
Community members from all walks of life recently came together at the ‘Blast from the Past’ fundraiser hosted by the Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society.
Taking place at Royal King Palace & Convention Centre, the event featured guest speaker Wally Oppal, in addition to entertainment, a silent auction and prize giveaways with the proceeds benefitting PICS’ ‘Long-term Nursing Care Home Project’ – a new 125-bed facility for South Asian seniors.
