Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, who recently watched the much-appreciated court-room drama Pink, said the movie has left him in a shocking state, adding it has become mandatory to change the mindset of people.

“I am in shock after seeing it because it’s such a hard hitting film; also, it is very important for our country. I think each and every person, who has seen it, will agree that no matter how much you praise the film, it will still be less.”

The 31-year-old actor said he believes the movie compels the people to introspect themselves and re-think about the way they think and perceive things.

“After watching a film like this, I feel that it has become mandatory to change the mindset of people. When a movie stirs one so much emotionally then it certainly implies that what is happening around us should not happen. Sometimes you too realise that you have to also play a part in stopping it,” he said.

Citing Angad’s character, Arjun said the country is full of such dual people, who despite belonging to the young generation carry an old, conservative kind of a mindset.

“The character played by Angad Bedi is quite common. In fact, I also know such people,” regretted the actor.

Commending all those involved in the movie, the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actor said, “I think Shoojit Sircar as a creative producer, all the actors to even technicians all deserve to be applauded. Even the boys who have chosen to play those parts, somewhere it takes a lot of courage and guts to do that. And to have the ability to tell the story like this is great and I think it’s definitely up there as one of the best films of this year.”

“There are very few films like this which are able to give such a strong message in just two hours or so, people are rather trying to give the same message from years but were not able to successfully disseminate it,” he addded.

Arjun also said the movie deserves to be watched by all the youngsters of the country as it will change their mindsets. “I am very happy that people in the media who have watched the film are making it sure that everybody in the country gets this message that it is an important film for our generation,” he said.
