Darsheel inspired by Aamir Khan's character

    Actor Darsheel Safary, who will be seen romancing a girl on a TV show, says he drew inspiration from superstar Aamir Khan's character from "Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak".
     
    "I drew inspiration from Aamir uncle’s character from 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak'. My career in the industry so far has been shaped by him. He is my mentor. My dream is to do more films with him as I look up to him,” Darsheel said in a statement.
     
    The 18-year-old actor will be seen essaying the role of a teenager, who is in love with his childhood friend and would go to any extent to impress her on the show "Sun Yaar Try Maar". It will be aired on Bindaas channel on Sunday.
     
    Asked whether he is still in touch with Aamir, Darsheel said: “Yes! I’m very much in touch with Aamir uncle. I keep taking advice from him as to what roles I should do and what I shouldn't." 
     
    Darsheel wooed the audience with his exemplary performance in Aamir's 2007 film "Taare Zameen Par".
