Actor Arjun Kapoor, reacting to the news of kidnapping and alleged assault on a popular Malayalam actress, on Sunday wondered how people can keep women safe in this country.
 
On Friday, the actress was kidnapped and allegedly assaulted while on her way from Thrissur to Kochi. Her driver, suspected of involvement in the incident, has already been taken into custody.
 
"How do we make our women safe? Does anyone in our government have an answer? Where does the change lie? Through law or through education," Arjun tweeted.
 
Other Malayalam stars such as Prithviraj, Dulquer Salmaan and Nivin Pauly also condemned the act.
