Konkona, Ranvir Announce Split

    Acclaimed actors Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey on Monday announced their separation after just a little over five years of tying the knot.
     
    The couple, who had been dogged by rumours that there was trouble in their marital life for long, will continue to co-parent their four-year-old son Haroon.
     
    "Ranvir and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you," Konkona, daughter of renowned filmmaker Aparna Sen, posted on Twitter.
     
    Ranvir also made the announcement on the social media platform.
     
    "Konkona and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you," he wrote.
     
    The duo, who worked in "Gour Hari Dastaan: The Freedom File" earlier this year, had been dating for three years before they decided to get married.
