In an Instagram post on Saturday, the 40-year-old actress shared a throwback picture in which she was overweight by 32 kgs. Along with it, Shilpa also shared a current photograph of hers to make it more explicit.
Although Shilpa states that the old picture is a 'not so complimentary' one, the reason behind sharing it is motivational - if she can do it, so can you.

Actor Emraan Hashmi, who features in another cricket-based film "Azhar" after "Jannat", says he doesn't know why he always gets films with the controversial match-fixing angle.
The 27-year-old actress is co-producing the film with Fox Star Studios. She will be sharing screen space with singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma, of the "Life of Pi" fame.
