  • Sonakshi's Singing Performance At IIFA A 'Dream Come True'
Actress Sonakshi Sinha says she always dreamt of performing like a “rockstar” in front of a live audience, and her singing act at the forthcoming 16th edition of the three-day International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend and Awards in June, will fulfil her dream.

“I'm all set for IIFA. I always had this 'rockstar' dream in my life that I am singing at a concert... and this is going to be as close to it as possible. In a way, my dream is coming true. So, yes, I am very excited,” the "Dabangg" actress told IANS on the sidelines of the announcement of the seventh edition of BMW India Bridal Fashion Week here on Friday.

The actress, who is working hard on A.R. Murugadoss's “Akira”, has been named the face of the five-day fashion extravaganza, which will start here on July 15.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi is excited to head out to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where the IIFA celebrations will begin on June 5.

Sonakshi will perform at IIFA Rocks, an exclusive musical extravaganza, hosted by actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra, on the starting day. She will also lend her energy and grace to a live act on the concluding awards night on June 7.
