Multiple musicians, including Beyonce Knowles, Kanye West and Rhanna have shown support for rapper Jay-Z's music streaming service Tidal.

The ensemble helped promote the service on micro-blogging website Twitter using the hashtag '#TIDALforALL' and turned their Twitter profile picture bright blue, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Knowles wrote: "'The Tides They Are-A Changing' #TIDALforALL. (sic)”

West added: “Together, we can turn the tide and make music history. Start by turning your profile picture blue. #TIDALforALL."

"NAVY, turn the tide. #MakeMusicHistory #TurnitBlue #TIDALforALL," Rihanna wrote.

Madonna, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Jack White, Coldplay, Calvin Harris and Deadmau5 are among other names supporting Tidal on Twitter.

Tidal, which was acquired by Jay-Z earlier this month for $56 million from Swedish company Aspiro, launched on March 30. The streaming service offers high fidelity sound quality, high definition music videos and curated editorial. Users have to pay $19.99 a month for high-fidelity audio and $9.99 for standard quality audio.
