Dakota Fanning disliked 'precocious' tag

Darpan News Desk IANS, 15 Sep, 2014 09:52 AM
Actress Dakota Fanning says she hated being called “precocious” when she was a child star because she was just trying to be herself.

Dakota, who has starred in over 35 movies and TV shows since she was seven years old, has always been mature and hated being accused of acting older than her years.

“I have this whole thing with that word 'precocious'. I guess it's not a negative, but when I was younger, especially, I was labelled that, and I was just being who I was! Do you know what I mean? Like, 'Oh you're so mature,' when I'm just being normal,” contactmusic.com quoted the 20-year-old as saying.

The actress also revealed that she won't be getting a Twitter account because she wants to keep her life a “mystery”.
