Actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will be joining hands with his 2015 film "San Andreas" director Brad Peyton for the film adaptation of the classic video game "Rampage".
 
Ryan Engle is penning the script, with plot details being kept under wraps. In the video game, players were tasked with stopping a giant gorilla, a lizard and a wolf as they wreak havoc across America, reports variety.com.
 
Production is likely to start sometime in the summer of 2016 as Johnson’s schedule is filled until the next spring. Johnson is currently filming the action comedy “Central Intelligence” alongside Kevin Hart.
