  • Hugh Jackman Still Embarrassed By Stage Urinating Incident
Actor Hugh Jackman, who played Gaston from "Beauty and the Beast" in the Australian production of the musical, says the “most embarrassing moment in his life” remains when he relieved himself on stage during a live show.

The “Wolverine” star opened up about the stage fiasco when he appeared at “Graham Norton’s Show”.

When Norton showed an image of the star in the getup, the actor chuckled and said: "Ohh okay, I know this story...It is true. Well it is my most embarrassing moment in life."

He said: "I was getting these headaches, it was my first job at Dana in the musical and I was getting headaches and I went to a Naturopath and he said aww you are dehydrated, you are sweating every night -- you need to drink three liters of water a day. I said, three liters! So of course, me being me I drank four liters, well I think it as three, but four!

"I have a routine when I go on stage. When I was on after five minutes after the show goes up, I always pee when they say places --'Places and gentlemen and I go and pee. So I peed and went backstage and I am like, I gotta go again, I gotta go again, no really I have to got to go again and that was my cue; so I walked on stage really needing to go again."

It was then the actor had to choose between singing for the part at its best or to restrain, and he opted for the latter.

Disney brought the timeless classic Beauty and the Beast to the Indian stage for the first time ever in 2015 with over 100 of the best musical theatre performers. And it returns with its second run to Mumbai and Delhi on popular demand.

The show in Mumbai will be held at Dome @ NSCI from Friday for over two weekends, and will then move to Delhi. It will be held at Thyagraj Sports Complex in the national capital in June. Hitesh Malukani and Varun Narayan play Gaston in Disney's Beauty and the Beast musical, produced locally in India by Vikranth Pawar.

Jackman also shared an image from the play on his Facebook page with a post that read: "Yup, the rumours are true. JimCarrey and I are twins. Circa I'm not telling! ?##?TThrowbackThursday?.."
