JLo felt 'abused' in relationships

Darpan News Desk IANS, 31 Oct, 2014 08:55 AM
  • JLo felt 'abused' in relationships
Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez says she felt abused in some of her past relationships.

She shared her experience in her upcoming memoir "True Love", reports people.com.

While she doesn't specify the abuser, Lopez writes: "I've never gotten a black eye or a busted lip, but I've felt abused in one way or another - mentally, emotionally, verbally."

Her new book describes the many ups and downs of her love life, as well as the reasons behind her 2011 split from singer Marc Anthony, the father of their six-year-old twins Max and Emme.

But this wasn't the book she planned to write.

"It started out as fan book, a diary of the years I went on tour. But it turned into something else. As I started looking at things, it helped me face a lot. I would never go into specifics about my relationships, and I don't. But the idea was that I learned something," she said.
