John Stamos Arrested For Alleged DUI

Darpan News Desk IANS, 13 Jun, 2015 02:59 PM
Actor John Stamos has been arrested for allegedly driving under the influence, the Beverly Hills police department confirmed.

On Friday night, the police stopped the actor's car on Beverly Drive and South Santa Monica Boulevard after they received "numerous calls" about a possible

drunk driver in the area, reports aceshowbiz.com.

The "Full House" star was alone in his vehicle at the time. He was taken to a nearby hospital for a possible medical condition.

After further investigation, police concluded he was driving under the influence.

The 51-year-old actor was arrested and given a citation for the DUI (Driving Under Influence), but was released into the care of the hospital.

He is scheduled to appear in court on September 11.

Stamos is going to reprise his role as Uncle Jesse in "Full House" revival on Netflix, "Fuller House".

He will also executive produce the spin-off, which will centre on the pregnant and recently widowed DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron) and her three kids, along

with her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and neighbour Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber).

Original stars Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin and Dave Coulier are confirmed to return.
