Singer Justin Bieber's dog Sammy is dead. He said that the pet was his only friend in a new city.
The 20-year-old shared the news on Instagram Thursday, reports people.com.
“R.I.P Sammy you were the best puppy ever,” he wrote, with a picture of his pet on his lap.
As per reports, the pup, who lived with Bieber's grandparents in Ontario, Canada, was a comfort to the star when he moved in 2009.
“We moved to a city where we didn't really know anybody so I wanted a friend, and Sam was that friend. I visited him in an animal shelter, I really encourage going out to an animal shelter to get a dog that doesn't have a home,” Beiber said.
