  • Kanye West To Replace Frank Ocean At Music Fest
Replacing singer Frank Ocean, rapper Kanye West will headline the FYF music festival here this weekend, officials have announced.

The announcement was made via Twitter on Thursday, confirming that West would play on Saturday night, reports variety.com.

Another tweet from the festival’s account read that Ocean had cancelled his headlining appearance, but did not disclose a reason for his absence. According to the event website, Ocean cancelled the gig “on his own terms".

The addition of West in the line-up represents a massive boost in star power for FYF. Other scheduled performers for the two-day festival include Morrissey, D’Angelo and the Vanguard, FKA Twigs, Chet Faker, Flume, Belle & Sebastian, Bloc Party and Run the Jewels.

FYF will take place at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena and Exposition Park on August 22-23.
