  • One Direction named Britain's best selling musical export
One Direction have been named Britain’s best selling musical export for the year 2013.

The band released their third album titled "Midnight Memories" in November last year and this has added to their success as it has became the year's biggest selling album worldwide.

Despite releasing in November, "Midnight Memories" managed to shift a massive four million copies in only six weeks, reports contactmusic.com.

The album's success pushed Eminem’s comeback album "The Marshall Mathers" into second place, while Justin Timberlake had to be content with coming in third.
