  • One Direction to launch make-up line
Members of British-Irish band One Direction are expanding their global reach by launching a cosmetics collection.

The "What Makes You Beautiful" hitmakers released a perfume for girls and a jewellery range last year, and they are now capitalising on their international success with a make-up line, reports contactmusic.com.

Band member Niall Horan unveiled the collection on micro-blogging site Twitter by posting a picture of his nails covered in varnish and his hands scribbled with eyeliner, eyeshadow and lipstick swatches.

He wrote: "Just had a great meeting about 1D (One Direction) make-up! It's that good I'm gona (sic) start wearing it myself."
