Selfie Denotes Peculiar Intimacy: Big B

  • Selfie Denotes Peculiar Intimacy: Big B
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan feels that people in today's modern society cannot have a single moment in their lives without clicking a selfie. He says this “miracle” style of photography denotes a “peculiar intimacy with the ones they are clicked with”.

“It has been those last pieces of work for the 'AKRHZ' project and today the people of the city participated along with me… Ending with a demand for a ‘selfie’... No occupation or moment in our lives today is devoid of this miracle, the ‘selfie’,” Amitabh, who was shooting for a promo of the final episode of TV show “Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi” here on Saturday, wrote on his blog.

“One takes pictures from sophisticated cameras, and equipments of great value... But at the end of the day, it's the mobile pointed in camera reverse that is most satisfying and practical for those that execute it... In some ways the ‘selfie’ has come to denote a peculiar intimacy with the ones they are clicked with,” he added.

"Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi", aired on Star Plus, celebrates ordinary people's kindness towards society and showcases the journey of people who battled all odds to help society improve and worked as an inspiration for others to change their outlook.
