Vancouverites Speak of Sadhguru’s Transformational Inner Engineering Program (Part 2)

  • Vancouverites Speak of Sadhguru’s Transformational Inner Engineering Program (Part 2)
Here is our second installment of the series of stories we are collecting from previous Inner Engineering program attendees. In September, Isha Foundation, a non-profit spiritual organization founded by Sadhguru, is hosting Inner Engineering Total in Vancouver. The program designed by Sadhguru is vouched by individuals all over the globe for its many benefits including inner wellbeing and personal growth.

The following analysis of Inner Engineering comes from Garima Goswami.

My name is Garima Goswami and I completed my Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya under the guidance of Sadhguru in May 2017, in Vancouver. I have been following Sadhguru through his YouTube videos but this was the first time I had attended an Isha Foundation event in person.

I would describe my experience with the Inner Engineering program as significantly transforming and I cannot be more thankful to Sadhguru and Isha Foundation volunteers for their support in helping me steer through the process. Not only did the program clarify and refine my outward perspective – the way in which I perceive things and react to people around me – but also acquainted me with an inner balance that now gives me more control over myself.

I would like to mention that I had no previous experience with yoga or meditation whatsoever before doing this program and unlike other attendees who had been following Sadhguru for years, I was fairly new in my introduction to him and Isha Foundation. In fact, I had only completed my Inner Engineering online prerequisites one day before the two-day live event in Vancouver.

I had read narratives about the program from previous attendees but I approached the live event with an open mind. I was simply looking forward to being in Sadhguru’s company and everything else that came was all bonus for me. It was a transformative and unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone. No matter what you are seeking – inner balance, spiritual growth, healthy mind and body, knowledge or just answers  the program addresses everything to gracefully align various layers of our physical and non-physical body and helps us reach a different dimension.

Like many other attendees, I was experiencing stress, anxiety, lethargy and that is just to say the least. Only after continuing the practice have I realized the changes that extend beyond my work, home and social life. Out of the many benefits such as better sleep and focus, the most important benefit for me has been the feeling of being present in the moment and being content with everything that exists in it. I remember having a feeling of a continuous rush with every task I performed. My mind was always racing towards the next task before I had completed what I was working on and consequently, I was never able to perform to my full potential. Inner Engineering has helped me bring the clarity I needed. It has helped me anchor myself in the present moment.

Once again, I am very grateful to Sadhguru for his blessings and thankful to Isha Foundation volunteers for hosting such events in Vancouver.
