  • Raasleela Bridal Fashion Week Vancouver 10-day countdown begins
The 10-day countdown for the most-awaiting Raasleela Bridal Fashion Week 2017 has begun. Taking place on April 7 to 9 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, the exciting event organized by well-known designer duo Parvesh and Jai and Bharti Art Jewellers, will be dazzled with a spectacular eruption of South Asian and Bollywood fashion.

Preparations are in full swing for yet another year of a successful fashion week. Designer Parvesh reveals that about 150 brides have already registered for the event. “We have had a tremendous response and are expecting more registrations in last week before the bridal show,” he says.

Attendees, especially soon-to-be brides and grooms are in for a big surprise at Rasleela Fashion Week. The first 200 brides will be receiving a goodie bag filled with special discounts, offer and souvenirs from the vendors participating in the bridal week. 10 lucky to-be-married ladies will be presented with a jewellery piece from Golden Tree Jewellers. Also, one lucky groom will be gifted an engagement ring by Bharti Art Jewellers.

Talking about Bharti Art Jewellers, Parvesh says that the jewellery house will showcase their new collection at the event. Also, they will be offering customized designs at the price range affordable to the bridal couple.

The event aims to bring together the nation’s best bridal designers, jewellers and wedding vendors together under one umbrella. Various renowned designers, from Canada and India, will be showcasing their newest collections to the audience. Some of the designers taking part in the Raasleela Bridal Fashion Week are Rabani & Rakha, Shashank Prajwal, Pammi Singh, and Mayanka Gupta, Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani, among others.

Meha Bhargava, wedding stylist and founder of Styl.Inc, will be one of the participants this year at the Bridal Fashion Week. Bhargava, an expert wedding stylist and personal shopper in India catering to brides, grooms and their families for the ‘Ultimate Wedding Shopping’ experience, is going to provide her exclusive inputs to the visitors at the event.

The Fashion Week kicks off in style with a VIP reception, opening gala on April 7, attended by celebrities and distinguished members of the community. Renowned national and international designers, jewellers and wedding vendors will exhibit and showcase their collection on runway for the next two days on April 8 and 9. “This event is for everyone – whether your getting married, already married or will be attending a wedding in the future. Attend it to have a great time and check the beautiful bridal display by various vendors. It is a once-in-lifetime opportunity,” say Parvesh encouraging people to attend this exciting affair.
