From hiking trails in Northern B.C. to city festivals in Victoria, local tourism operators are seeing an uptick in bookings, particularly for family travel and multigenerational vacations.
The shift toward domestic travel is also bolstering local events, which play a vital role in Canada’s tourism economy.
