  • Experience the Art of Liquidity Wines in the Heart of Wine Country
Take a trip to the heart of Okanagan Falls this summer for an immersive art experience at the award-winning Liquidity Wines. Recently awarded the prestigious Chardonnay du Monde silver medal prize in France for its world-class 2013 vintage Chardonnay, Liquidity Wines is based on the three pillars of art, wine and food.

From free artist lectures to competitions to win limited-edition artworks, Liquidity's unique events will inform and inspire art-lovers this summer. Owner Ian MacDonald shares his passion for art through carefully selected design touches in the winery, which features a lobby, tasting room and bistro that flow onto a large outdoor patio with an awe-inspiring view of Vaseux Lake in B.C.'s Okanagan Valley.

Art installations can be spotted in the 30-acre vineyard, amongst the Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Riesling vines. Inside the winery, walls are adorned with paintings and photographs from acclaimed global artists. Visitors can share their experience with the hashtag #MyLiquidityPhoto on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter for a chance to win a limited-edition print by renowned Canadian photographer David Burdeny, valued at $4,900.

Liquidity is pleased to announce their 2016 Artist Lecture Series, which takes place at 3pm on the second Saturday of each month between July and October. Recently named Nature Photographer of the Year, David Burdeny will be one of the featured artists in the series, appearing on October 8 as the final speaker in the lineup of free lectures. Burdeny joins talented Canadian artists, such as Vancouver-based Bobbie Burgers (July 16), internationally acclaimed figurative painter Charles Malinsky (August 13) and visual artist Jeff Burgess (September 10). Seating is available for up to 50 people - reserve a space at the tasting room or online.

Burgess will be discussing his recent commission from Liquidity, which includes an inside look at the step-by-step process of the creation of a large, multi-figured, historical ensemble painting. Documentation will capture thumbnail sketches, drawings, and numerous compositional and colour studies leading up to the completed large-scale work. Follow his work by visiting Liquidity or the winery'sFacebook page.

Enjoy the summer sunshine of Canada's only desert, just a scenic five-hour drive from Vancouver. Relax with a glass of handcrafted wine from winemaker Alison Moyes whilst taking in a priceless view that could hang in one of the great galleries of the world. Indulge with dinner at Liquidity Bistro, which reflects the winery's artistic approach to life with an eclectic curation of artwork adorning the walls and vibrant dishes crafted by Executive Chef Rob Walker and his kitchen team.
