Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday moved a Delhi court seeking permission to spend more time with his legal counsel to prepare for the cases pending against him in several parts of the country. On Monday, the court sent Kejriwal to judicial custody till April 15 in connection with a money laundering case related to the alleged excise policy scam, as the AAP supremo moved an application seeking three books -- Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, and How Prime Ministers Decide.
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal on Wednesday announced the formation of a 15-member manifesto committee for the Lok Sabha polls in Punjab for 13 seats slated on June 1.
The AAP leader also said that during his six-month incarceration, he learned that according to the jail manual, any individual in custody has the right to pen an unlimited number of letters.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, eyeing to win all 13 Lok Sabha seats in the state based on the historic mandate for his AAP in the 2022 Assembly elections, on Wednesday held a meeting with all MLAs of Sangrur. He asked them to run a positive campaign where AAP leaders will go to the people and apprise them of the government's works and achievements in the past two years.
