Akali Dal constitutes 15-member manifesto committee for Lok Sabha polls

Chandigarh, April 3 (IANS) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal on Wednesday announced the formation of a 15-member manifesto committee for the Lok Sabha polls in Punjab for 13 seats slated on June 1.

He said the committee has 15 members and, in addition, six members have been added as special invitees, he added.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday said that it busted a major module of cyber enabled crimes allegedly coercing foreign nationals for payments, adding it also carried out searches around 24 locations across multiple states in this connection which led to recovery of cash of Rs 2.2 crore.
At least seven Bangladeshi nationals, including three minors and two women, were deported back to their country through the India-Bangladesh international border at Assam's Karimganj district, officials said.
