Man Arrested For Allegedly Raping Daughter With Special Needs In Telangana

IANS, 14 Nov, 2017 11:32 AM
A middle-aged man has been arrested for allegedly raping his 20-year-old daughter -- a child with special needs -- in Telangana's Warangal district, police said today.

The accused, V Vijayendra Chary, is a government employee. He was arrested yesterday after his wife filed a complaint with the police, said Intezargunj police station circle inspector S Ravi Kumar.

Chary allegedly raped his daughter several times in the last two month, the police officer said, quoting from the complaint filed by the girl's mother.

"The victim is the eldest of four children of the couple. She discontinued her studies as she is a child with special needs," the officer said.

He said a rape case has been filed against Chary and investigation is on.
