Sikh activists on Monday protested outside the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) office here against the DSSSB chairman and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
They were against the board’s decision of preventing Sikh candidates from wearing ‘kirpan’ and ‘kara’ in the examination.
The activists were led by DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa and general secretary Harmeet Singh Kalka.
Akhlesh, a native of Bihar, used to quarrel with his 38-year-old wife frequently over his extra-marital affair, which led to the incident.
Binny Bansal had alleged in his complaint that the woman was sending threatening emails to him, the official said. The complaint, after a few days of investigation, was closed.
