Three people are facing multiple charges after an alleged carjacking in Surrey.

Mounties say they responded to a report of a vehicle being taken at gunpoint Sunday afternoon.

They say that's when a suspicious vehicle was spotted by officers.

An attempt to pull it over ended after the driver fled, colliding with the police vehicle, before ultimately stopping.

Police say the trio of suspects Oromena Urefe (21), Janiar Hasan (24) and Dante Masone (21) are facing charges including robbery with a firearm, disguise with intent, flight from police and possession of an unauthorized firearm.
