The City of Surrey is launching a three-year plan to boost the number of new housing units to an average of more than four thousand per year.
A statement from the City of Surrey says the plan is enabled by 96-million-dollars in federal funding.
The plan aims to increase new unit delivery in the city by almost 28 per cent.
The statement says Surrey plans to improve the development processes for higher-density multi-unit housing projects and adjust zoning in areas around rapid-transit lines.
Health spending is projected to have increased 12.8 per cent between 2019 and 2020. That's more than triple the average annual growth rate seen from 2015 to 2019, which was approximately four per cent per year. Spending is estimated to have increased another 2.2 per cent between 2020 and 2021.

The occupants of the vehicle did not claim ownership of the coins, leading police to believe they were stolen. Police were unable to locate any reports of lost/ stolen coins matching the description of the collection located.
