485 COVID19 cases for BC

4 new COVID-19 related deaths and 485 new cases for BC for today. A total of 1,172 deaths in British Columbia.

A total of 65,719 cases in British Columbia.

Dr Henry and Dix - “In response, people throughout the province have stepped up to put normal routines and activities aside, doing all they can to protect our communities, Elders and loved ones. Thank you."

Premier John Horgan says provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry's call for people to do more to fight COVID-19 was her plea to get everybody to adhere to public health restrictions.

Canadian Forces still unsure how to raise helicopter that crashed

The Canadian military is still determining how to raise the wreckage of a military helicopter that crashed into the Mediterranean Sea last week, Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan said Thursday. The crash killed six members of the Canadian Forces, though the remains of only one, Sub-Lt. Abbigail Cowbrough, have been recovered.
