New Westminster Police are seeking witnesses after a person was assaulted by a group of young people onboard a bus.
Police say the victim suffered minor injuries from the incident, which happened around 6:30 p-m Sunday.
They say the group fled the scene before first responders arrived.
Sergeant Andrew Leaver says in a news release that police believe other people were on the bus at the time and are asking people to come forward to describe what they saw.

The B.C. Prosecution Service says in a statement it recently determined the available evidence no longer satisfies the charge assessment standard for a prosecution to continue.
The survey asked more than 14,500 Canadians online between December 2020 and February 2021 if they intended to get vaccinated once they were eligible, with researchers identifying differences in participants by age, education, ethnicity, and home province.
