Crews continue to investigate Cambie Rd Overpass crash

UPDATE: The investigation is still continuing with crews on scene to look at the damage done to the Cambie Road overpass above BCHwy99 during yesterday's collision. A truck struck the overpass and southbound Hwy 99 remains blocked. The detour is down to the Shell Road exit.
EARLIER STORY:
Richmond RCMP is advising that the South bound lanes of Hwy 99 and the Cambie Road overpass are closed due to a commercial vehicle collision with the bridge deck.
Both roads will be closed for an unknown amount of time as engineers assess the damage to the overpass. Southbound travelers should detour by way of the No 4 Road or Shell Road exit off ramps. Northbound traffic on Hwy 99 is not affected at this time.
The security footage shows two masked men entering a Gucci store on Dec. 9. They deploy bear spray in the face of a staff member before grabbing what police say was about $20,000 in merchandise off the shelves.
The federal ethics commissioner investigated the trips and in 2017 ruled his acceptance of gifts breached conflict of interest rules because the Aga Khan was the founder of a charity that had received federal money.

The federal agency says the cases are being investigated to determine if they are related to those in the United Kingdom and the United States. A spokesperson did not share any further details, such as the number of cases, age of the children or their health condition.
The recent federal budget added to the Canada Infrastructure Bank's plate by requiring it to now spend public dollars on private sector-led projects like small modular reactors, clean fuel production, and carbon capture and storage.
