Mounties say they're searching for a suspect after a cyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Vancouver Island.
The Comox Valley R-C-M-P say a passerby found the injured male cyclist late last night near a road in Courtenay, and called 9-1-1, but the cyclist later died in hospital.
Police have not released the victim's name or age.
They say he was riding a red and white bike specialized bike, and investigators want to hear from anyone who may have seen him on the road.
Homicide detectives have been called in to investigate after a man's body was found inside a home in New Westminster. Police say officers were sent to the home last night to carry out a well-being check.
