Dead Body Discovered On Kelowna’s Black Mountain Area

    RCMP are currently on scene and investigating after the discovery of a body early Monday afternoon.
     
    On June 20, 2016 at 1:43 pm, the Kelowna RCMP were called to an undeveloped area on Black Mountain for a report of a body found.
     
    The Kelowna RCMP are currently on scene investigating at this time. The RCMP are awaiting the arrival of the BC Coroner’s Service and have not yet confirmed a gender or an age of the deceased person. Police are treating the death as suspicious at this time until proven otherwise.
     
    The investigation is in its early stages and the RCMP will provide updated information as it becomes available.
