Elderly driver killed in a T-bone crash

Police in Delta are looking for video surveillance footage after an elderly driver was killed in a T-bone collision.

Police say the victim was leaving a Wendy's restaurant on December 22nd when the vehicle was struck on its driver's side by another car.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit died a few days after the crash.

Investigators are looking for dash-cam video or other security camera footage to determine what happened in the area of the 93-hundred block of Scott Road around the time of the incident.

Dr. David Harriman, a kidney transplant surgeon at Vancouver General Hospital, said between eight and 10 surgeons are needed in B.C. so residents waiting for a kidney can benefit from the organs that were donated in the province.
