DELTA, B.C. - A person has been killed in a shooting in Delta, B.C.

A statement from Delta Police says officers responded to a call of shots fired just after 2 a.m. at a home on the northeast side of the city.

The unnamed male victim died at the scene.

Police say the deceased and the home are known to them.

They say the shooting is believed to be targeted.
