DELTA, B.C. - A person has been killed in a shooting in Delta, B.C.
A statement from Delta Police says officers responded to a call of shots fired just after 2 a.m. at a home on the northeast side of the city.
The unnamed male victim died at the scene.
Police say the deceased and the home are known to them.
They say the shooting is believed to be targeted.
Testing began in mid-November over three weeks for surgical patients and four weeks for patients who had been in emergency rooms.
Bains said that while she didn't know if the other woman had the virus, it alarmed her that residents were able to wander between rooms without staff immediately noticing.
