DELTA, B.C. - A person has been killed in a shooting in Delta, B.C.

A statement from Delta Police says officers responded to a call of shots fired just after 2 a.m. at a home on the northeast side of the city.

The unnamed male victim died at the scene.

Police say the deceased and the home are known to them.

They say the shooting is believed to be targeted.

Metro Vancouver Transit Police say a woman travelling on a Surrey bus received multiple threats of sexual violence. According to Transit Police the woman was on a bus that had just departed Newton Exchange with about 15 other passengers on July 14 around 11 pm when she received the threatening messages to her phone via AirDrop.
