Four Paris police officials accused of raping Canadian woman

Four French officials have been detained for allegedly raping a Toronto woman at their Paris headquarters.
The 34-year-old woman, who was touring Paris is a former Toronto-area police service employee and the daughter of a ranking police officer, as per news reports.
The officers are members of the Brigade de recherche et d'intervention, a squad that also handles anti-gang operations.
Media reports suggest that the woman met the officers at a pub and went to the unit's headquarters with them, where she was allegedly raped.
Le Parisien describes the four officers as a major, a brigadier, a captain and a lieutenant.
Meanwhile, surveillance-camera videos of the building are reportedly being verified and DNA tests are also being conducted.
French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve stated that "all necessary measures" will be taken if the allegations are true.
