Darpan, 30 Jun, 2016 01:48 PM

On May 28, 2016 at 11:00pm, a female suspect entered a business in the 15500 block of Fraser Highway in Surrey.

The suspect produced a knife and demanded cash from a store clerk. The clerk was slashed on the arm by the suspect during the robbery before fleeing on foot.

Surrey RCMP Robbery Unit is leading this investigation and has been able to obtain surveillance footage of the suspect.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian female with blonde hair and very distinctive teeth.

“We’re thankful that the clerk received only minor injuries, says Corporal Scotty Schumann. Our Victim Services Unit has been in touch with the victim to help her through this traumatic event. With these surveillance photos we’re hopeful someone from the public will recognize the suspect and call police.

Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-TIPS or www.solvecrime.ca.
