It Was Potentially Targeted Shooting, Victim Identified: Surrey RCMP

    On 31 July 2016 at 8:21 pm Surrey RCMP was called to a residence in the 13900 block of Antrim Road, Surrey after receiving a report of an injured male. BC Ambulance service also attended. The male has since been pronounced deceased as a result of a homicide.
     
    Police later identified the victim as 27-year-old Sean Christopher Kelly.
     
    Court documents show a man with the same name faced several charges including trafficking and aggravated assault.
     
    The suspected homicide comes after a series of shootings in Surrey B.C.
     
    "We are warning those individuals that know they are hanging out or are associating with people entwined in this conflict to be very careful," said Staff Sgt. Jennifer Pound of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) at the time.
