Man, 20, Stabbed While Waiting For Train At Edmonton Light Rail Transit

    EDMONTON — A witness says a man was stabbed in the chest in an unprovoked attack while waiting for a train during Edmonton's busy morning commute.
     
     
    Police were called to a platform of the light rail transit system's south campus station around 7:45 a.m.
     
     
    The witness told CTV News that a man stabbed another man in the chest before running away.
     
     
    Several bystanders helped with first aid before emergency crews arrived.
     
     
    The victim was conscious when officers arrived and he was transported to hospital.
     
     
    Edmonton police have not yet commented on the alleged attack.
