A man has been arrested and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle after driving through a police traffic stop in Surrey.
Surrey R-C-M-P say they responded on January 3rd to reports of a suspected impaired driver near the 13-thousand-900 block of Fraser Highway.
Police with the help of a helicopter located the silver Mercedes S-U-V shortly after, but the driver drove through a police traffic stop and continued to operate recklessly.
Police say they were eventually able to arrest the 47-year-old male driver after he stopped in the parking lot of Willowbrook Mall in Langley
One man is in custody following a collision that sent two pedestrians to hospital yesterday afternoon. The pedestrians, a 24-year-old man and a 24-year old woman, were transported to hospital with serious injuries. A suspect was arrested in the area shortly after the collision.
