Police say a 32-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder after a fatal stabbing outside a Coquitlam pub last week.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says Coquitlam R-C-M-P had responded to a call about a fight outside the John B Pub on Friday night.
A statement from the team says bystanders tried to save the victim, but the 35-year-old man died from his injuries at the scene.
Police say officers arrested two men believed to have been involved in the fight, and the B-C Prosecution Service has approved a charge against one of them, while the other man has been released without charge.
