Man Stabbed At Surrey Central Bus Loop

  • Man Stabbed At Surrey Central Bus Loop
On November 15th at approximately 6:35pm, Surrey RCMP received a number calls advising that a male had collapsed at the Surrey Central Bus Loop and was bleeding from wounds to his abdomen. 
 
Officers attended to the scene and located a 20 year old male with wounds to his abdomen and back from an apparent stabbing. The male was transported to hospital by British Columbia Ambulance Services and is presently in serious but stable condition.
 
Officers are presently on scene speaking to witnesses as well as canvassing for possible video surveillance. Witnesses have indicated that the victim had been seen interacting with a group of persons in the parking lot area between the neighbouring mall and the bus loop prior to his collapse at the bus loop.
 
The investigation is still in its early stages, however, officers do not believe this to be a random attack and the general public is not at risk.
