The Vancouver Police Department says two people are facing charges after a 60-year-old man was violently beaten inside his Downtown Eastside Vancouver rooming house.
Vancouver Police say it happened on July 5 when the suspects forced their way into the victim's suite, beat him and stole his possessions.
The V-P-D says the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 37-year-old man and 40-year-old man have each been charged with break-and-enter, robbery, unlawful confinement, assault causing bodily harm and possession of a weapon.
