One Man Dead, Another Left With Serious Injuries After Reports Of Shots Fired

    HALIFAX — Police are investigating a shooting on a busy Halifax street that has left one man dead and another with life-threatening injuries.
     
    Officers say they were called to Gottingen Street in the city's north end just before 11 p.m. Tuesday to respond to multiple calls of shots fired.
     
    They say they found two injured men in a vehicle, one of whom was pronounced dead at the scene.
     
    The other man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but there were no other details on his condition.
     
    Police say the investigation is in its early stages and they are trying to determine what happened.
