Victoria police say they arrest a man found in a local shopping mall with what turned out to be a pellet gun made to look like a firearm.
Police say the man was seen Sunday with what appeared to be a handgun tucked into his waistband as he entered Hillside Mall.
Due to the crowds at the mall, police responded with what they called a "priority response" and arrested the man without incident.
He is now facing a string of charges including one count of carrying a concealed weapon and one count of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
