Physical Altercation Between Two Motorists After Traffic Offence In Kelowna

    RCMP continue to investigate after a physical altercation ensue between two motorists Tuesday evening in Glenmore.
     
    On July 12, 2016 at 8:28 pm, the Kelowna RCMP responded to a report of a fight between 2 woman in the roadway near the intersection of Summit Drive and Valley Road. 
     
    Police have determined that a series of events between the two motorists, which started with one of them being cut off by the other, ultimately led to the physical altercation. During the incident the vehicles were involved in at least two separate collisions with one another, before both vehicles became disabled on Summit Drive.
     
    An 18-year-old Kelowna woman, the driver of a red Suzuki Swift, was treated at the scene by Emergency Health Services for minor non-life threatening injuries.
     
    A 23-year-old Kelowna woman, the driver of a blue Nissan Versa, was arrested by police. She faces potential charges of assault and is expected to appear in Court on October 6th.
     
    The Kelowna RCMP continue their investigation and ask for witnesses to come forward to police.
